Guest guest Posted December 23, 2001 Report Share Posted December 23, 2001 Hello; My 17 year old son had surgery for his ACM a year ago around this time. Since then, he has been doing splendidly until about a month ago. Suddenly, he said his skull felt " weird " and " tingly " . Since then he's been getting headaches again and numbness in his arm and hand. He is also being seen for depression and possibly he is bipolar. (We're waiting to see how the anti-depressants work before we continue the diagnosis.) He had a MRI done on Friday and we are also waiting for those results. My question is, can his body reject the surgery or can the surgery have come 'undone'? Is there something new going on? Can the depression and ACM be connected in some way?
