a thought on organ donation, very little CC

The subject of organ donation can never be talked about too much.

There are so many on the donor waiting list.

If everyone in one of the continental united states were to join the

organ donor list, can you imagine that the need for organs would be

completely done away with.

I think a lot of people get scared in talking about organ donation,

because they feel that it may jinx them or something.

And talking to my family about my donor wishes is a little sensitive

right now, because I am having my zipper surgery on Jan 14, 2002.

But not only will my family be well aware of my wishes, I am taking

my donor card with me to the hospital so it can be kept with my

medical records while I am in the hospital.

I am in no way of planning on exiting this world during this surgery,

but if the worse case scenario happens, I am at ease that my wishes

will be carried out.
