Anyways I'm so sorry to hear about your son's problems. My daughter who is 9 was in the hospital in May with pancreatitis. They tested her for the gene mutation for hereditary pancreatitis and she had it. After that I was tested and so was my 7 year old daughter my mom and my sister(she has chronic pancreatitis). So maybe you might want to consider having him tested. We did because we figure the more they know about it the more likely they will find a treatment. Hope does well with the ERCP.
