Dear group,

First off...I want to wish each and every one of you a happy and painfree New

Year!!!!!!

Second....I have a question that I need help on.

I have heard of quite a few members having problems with sinus infections

related to ACM. My question is about ear infections.

Instead of having the sinus infections, I am plagued with chronic ear

infections. I get them and can't seem to get rid of them. Could this be

related to ACM like the sinus infections are?

I started getting ear infections about 2 1/2 years ago...about the time I

started having a lot of medical problems that finally led to the diagnosis of

ACM.

I get rid of them for about a week and then it comes back.

Coincidentally, it happens mainly in the right ear, and that is the side I have

most of my ACM problems on and my FM problems. My right side is my weak side, I

guess, even though I am right handed.

As of yesterday, I started to get it in my left ear, also. Now I can barely

hear anything out of both ears. The pressure behind them is driving me

insane!!!

Does anyone out there have any suggestions that might help explain this?

I think my PCP has tried every ear drop known to man on my ears.

HELP!!!!PLEASE!!!!!

Dear Anne,

I suffered with chronic ear infections for

years.Since my decompression I have not had one in 2

and1/2 years.

I do have pressure still but not the horrible

earaches I got along with sinusitis.I feel it is

definately chiari related.How about you guys?
