Yup Rayna, that's me!!

So far, I have lost 60 pounds, and I have also stopped. Dr. Forse says it is

just my body trying to take a rest and catch up. I hope the scale starts moving

soon!!

Have a great time in Florida! Wish it was me that was going. Pooh!! Once this

weather gets nicer, I hope to exercise more as well.

Hello, from the land of the living lurkers (ok so I've posted a couple things in the past few weeks).

Far as I can tell, I too have stopped loosing weight. At my last weigh in I'd lost about 2-3 lbs in a month or so. The thing is, that if I were not to loose another pound and stay right where I am, I'd still call my surgery a success. I feel 100% better and am comfortable in this body, still obese as it may be. My problem is the total chaotic fear I have of gaining weight.

In the past, as I'm sure with many of you, I either was loosing weight, or gaining it, never ever maintaining for more than a couple weeks. And of course when I started to regain what I'd lost, I'd pick up another 20 stray pounds along the way. You know, the logical part of me has confidence that the surgery and the new eating pattern I've adopted will not only keep the weight off, but probably promote continued weight loss. But the part of me that has lived in this body for 43 torturous years, just can't help feeling panic! Have others been thru this, and how did you deal with it?

DEAR KATHY

I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID. WHAT I HAVE LEARNED BEFORE I HAD THIS SURGERY AND UP TO NOW I AM VERY CAREFUL WITH WHAT I EAT. BECAUSE I DO FEEL BETTER NOW I AM ABLE TO EAT MORE PROTEIN THAN I COULD BEFORE. I FEEL STRONG THAT I HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH MAJOR SURGERY WITH ALL THE PAIN TO REGAIN WEIGHT AFTER I LOST IT.

I HAVE TOO MUCH ENERGY AND A NEW LIFE TO GIVE IT UP AGAIN. I AM GOING TO FLORIDA TOMORROW AND I AM GOING TO WALK AND WALK TO EXCERSIZE. I HAVE LOST WEIGHT DIFFERENT THAN I HAVE IN THE PAST. I HAVE LOST 45 LBS SINCE NOV 20TH. MY LEGS GOT THIN AND BELIEVE OR NOT MY ARMS GOT MUCH THINNER. BEFORE I WOULD SHAVE UNDER MY ARMS AND THE FAT HUNG DOWN AND I COULDN'T SEE WHAT I WAS DOING. NOW ALL THE FAT THAT WAS HANGING IS GONE. MY FACE WENT DOWN ALOT AND MY STOMACHE WENT DOWN A LITTLE. MY STOMACHE WILL BE THE LAST TO GO. ALSO MY HIPS WENT DOWN. SO THAT IS IT AND I WILL BE BACK FEB 19TH AND TALK AGAIN.

LOVE TO ALL RAYNA
