Hi all:

had his MRI Wednesday, and I'm still waiting to talk to the NSG about it,

but I got the report and have a couple questions maybe you can answer?

First of all, has anyone out there had basilar invagination? If so, what is the

" cure " or " fix " ? has it, and I'm thinking they're going to tell me more

surgery. What does this mean?>.....Apparent abnormal alignment of the

craniocervical junction with the

odontoid causing some kinking and compression on the medullary cervical

junction. The findings are suspicious of some degree of basilar invagination.

There is an impression on the cervical medullary junction of the brain stem and

cord by the odontoid with some angulation noted.

Any answers you can give would be greatly appreciated.
