Guest guest
Hi Elena, My legs are about 60% of my problem. And when I became symptomatic about 4 years ago it was my legs that gave me trouble first. I had surgery in 99 but it didn't help my legs at all. I have muscle weakness, twitches, cramps, stiffness, jerks. My neuro said I have spasticity along with hyper reflexes. I can't walk very far or sit or stand very long. Take care, Kathy In Ohio

Guest guest
-----------original message------------ Hi Elena, My legs are about 60% of my problem. And when I became symptomatic about 4 years ago it was my legs that gave me trouble first. Hi Everyone Its strange the comment came up about leg problems. 13 years ago when I first took ill before they even knew what was the problem it was my legs that first caused problems. I think thats why it was so hard to figure out what was wrong. How can leg problems boil down to chiari? I had surgery after 12 years of fighting to solve what was wrong with me last Nov and to this day I have leg problems. I wake up at nite because my legs hurt so much. I guess I should actually say my right leg hurts more than the left. I rub the top of my leg and pace because it hurts so much and niether rest or pain meds help. I have another question for you all. I had decompression surgery in Nov of 2000 as well as c1 removed and cervical fusion well in english terms I had three disks removed c5, 6, 7 and spacers inserted with titanium plate surgery in Mar of this year. I still find myself in pain at times. Yesterday in the van while driving the car in front of me stopped immediately in front of me driving at a speed of 80km. I had to make an abrupt stop. I never noticed my neck sore last nite. Today I have such a nasty headache where both my head and neck are very sore. Could it be from the van incident yesterday and I won't be sore until I moved this morning to get out of bed. During the nite I had a headache but just laid in bed. I never moved until this morning. I wonder if maybe I should be contacting the doctor but if this is just normal I don't want to be a pest since today is Sunday. Any advice I would love to hear. Thanks Group Your great Regards (Canada) decompression surgery Dr Oro Cervical fusion Dr Oro
