There are many that contain only niacinamide, which doesn't cause a flush, and is safer to take if you have rosacea.

Are there any B complex vitamins available that do not contain niacin?

Thanks much,

Tina

Yes, Tina, there are actually plenty! I take Natrol's

My Favorite B-Complex, but there are many brands that

contain a niacin alternative--usually niacinamide.

That shouldn't cause a flush, unless you take it in

very high doses.

I would also try to get one that doesn't use any

additives, like coloring. Go as pure as you can.

Good luck...

Hi I just had my dietary consult today. the dietitian said that I

would have to take a multi vitamin. she said that they sold a vitamin

called vistavitamins.

Does any one take them and do I have to take this brand. Is there an

over the counter multi vitanin that is just as good?

Thanks,

Becky

In the nutrition class I was in you could either buy the vitamins they sold

or take the flintstone multi vitamin. I take the Spring Valley brand of

multivitamin. Just be sure when you do take it that it is not one with iron in

it. If

it is you will need to wait at least an hour or two before you take your

calcium citrate or it will cancel it out. DO NOT TAKE THE CALCIUM CARBONATE! It

is

not absorbed like the citrate. Hope this helps.
