I have been at IEing for about 8 - 10 years, and I find so much of what you said to be true. It just takes time to make it a "second nature" kind of an experience, but I am SO GRATEFUL for every day that I feel integrated with my eating. I am much more peaceful regarding food now than I ever was. I like very much your idea about working one principle at a time, and I think this week I will focus on stopping when full, which is a big trigger for me. I pretty much have tackled the eat when hungry principle, but stopping when full....I find I may often eat past fullness, but not usually more than a few bites, but nevertheless, they are bites I really don't want, or feel nervous about "parting with."
