Guest guest
Hello, I just joined this group tonight and I have some questions, but first a little bit of background. Two and a half weeks ago my 23 month old dughter Caitlin had two seizures on two different days. After a visit to the emergency room and then several visits with her Pediatrician she was refered to a Pediatric Neurologist at Carle Hospital in Champaign, IL - Dr. Farris. As a result of our visit with him, Caitlin had an EEG last week and an MRI this week. Tonight our pediatrician called us with the results of the MRI....ACM Type 1 (and also a Sinus Infection). Dr. Farris has not seen the MRI, but the radiologist and our pediatrician both agree that it is an ACM1. We will be seeing Dr. Farris next week after he gets back from vacation, so I am wondering if anyone can help me out by suggesting questions that we should ask him. Also, does any one have any experience with ACM1 in a child this young. Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated, as I am just trying to learn all I can. Thanks in advance, Blair Paris, IL
