" Rotation is a must... "

Hi.

I recall someone's asserting here, within the last several weeks, that

rotation is NOT an issue on SCD.

Who is right?

TIA,

Debbie

Rotation is not an SCD issue.... it's a personal choice for those who do it.

That was just the opinion of the person who wrote that post. No, you don't have

to rotate foods to be SCD legal.

Debbie,

A rotation diet is not part of SCD.

If you feed foods that your child can digest properly, then rotating

should not be an issue.

People rotate foods in the hopes that by feeding bothersome

foods infrequently that the child will not become more sensitive

to the food.

But the premise of SCD is to feed only foods that are well

tolerated and as the gut heals, there will be an increase (over

time) of what the child can tolerate. The end goal is complete

healing and the ability to digest foods properly.
