For some people I know they need injections or sublingual B-12 - I am one of

those people. I do give myself injections via my Drs. perscription, very

economically. I am interested in the Vitamist and want to check it out...

$20. a tube is a bit steep, I think. just my 2 cents Deb in Ohio

Hi...I went to the Vitamist website and I think I'm going to sign up if I can

get the products at a reduced price...Here is a cut and paste of the adult

multiple:

Adult Multiple One of the most popular supplements today, Vitamist®

Multiple combines many essential vitamins and minerals into one dose. Although

most nutritionists recommend getting your nutrients from a well-balanced diet,

lack of time often hinders this effort. For those that have chosen to ensure

their nutritional intake by adding supplements to their diet, Vitamist® Multiple

enables them to do so, in a quick, convenient way, with the highest absorption

rate available.

Vitamist® Multiple includes more than 12 different vitamins and

minerals, tailored to meet the human body's requirements, including vitamins A,

C, D, E, the B-complex vitamins; thiamin, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6 and B12,

folate, beta-carotene and more.

Keeping your body balanced, that's what Vitamist® Multiple is all

about.

Vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E, Thiamin, Niacin, Folate, Biotin,

Pantothenic Acid, Beta-Carotene, Trace Minerals, Bioflavonoids.

$19.95

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Its just my opinion, but for the better absorption, less stomach-ache troubles
(which I tend to get with vitamins), no (or less) problems with constipation,
AND the simple convenience.....it is worth it to me. I haven't figured out what
their discount is for the distributorship but it must be something if the " buy
now " price on their web site was $19.95? Just my thoughts.
I mean I signed up with Calorad when it was the big thing....and to me it was
$40 per bottle with a suggested retail of $55.
Anyway....it might be a product that works well for post op MGB-ers
in Missouri
Recommendation is two blasts, four times per day. I also saw a list of flavors.
My understanding of Vitamist is that we take eight (8) sprays per day. There
is supposedly no need to triple the dose since it's absorbed through mouth or
nasal membranes, into the blood stream, rather than absorbed through the
stomach or intestines.
I think it's a great ideal, but with $20 for a multi-vitamin and $20 for the
appropriate minerals that's quite a hefty price in comparison w/Walmart's One
Source or my choice, Flintstone Complete. I pay approx $5.99 for nearly two
months!
Sincerely,
Anne:
I use the Flintstone Complete only because I like them. I feel like it's
more effective and easier on my system by being chewed. I realize this has
no scientific basis and the Walmart One Source are effective and a little
more cost effective. Just my choice and it gets the job done.
,
Wanted to let you know, I have surgery with Dr. R on Tuesday. Sounds like you
are doing great! Remember calling my daughter in Tulsa? She was not feeling
well on 2-14.....................she was pregnant! Due in October!
Any last minute advice for me? Blessings to you.
Sandy,
How absolutely wonderful for you and for Joy! I will be thinking about you
both, often. I'm sure Tuesday is going to go well. I still look forward to
seeing you in June.
Congratulations again, on both the new you and the new grandchild.
Sincerely,
na
And even though they're Flintstone's, for kids, they give you everything you
need? I'd prefer chewing them to swallowing a pile of pills, too.
Yes, the Flintstone Complete is complete, containing even Iron. A whole one
is for age four through adult, so I take three per day. I just don't think
I'd be so diligent with something else. The only place the Flintstone
Complete does not meet 100% or greater of RDA, is Biotin, which is for our
hair. I take a supplemental oral dose of Biotin. It's a tiny micro-capsule.
Sincerely,
na
