Nursing doesn't have to end soon if you don't want it to. I thought the same

thing the first time I was bitten, but the two of you will work through this

one and come to an understanding. He doesn't understand yet that he hurt

you, but if you're patient, he eventually will. He doesn't want to stop

nursing any more than you do.

I think I mentioned Maddie biting me the other day. Well now she's playing a

little game with me. She " pretends " to bite, pulls away, pats my nipple and

says " boo boo, mama " . I almost cried realizing she gets it. I know you can

work through this...maybe it was just a little experiment on his part and

since he didn't get his milk for a while, he'll stop. Whatever you choose to

do, be consistent about it and it will sink in.

Hi! I am and I am from NC. I am 38 years old. My husband is in the

service, I used to be too. Now I stay home with our 3 children. I am just

starting Thin Within. I have the book and I am waiting on the workbook. There

are no groups close to me here, so I joined this group in hopes of learning,

gaining, and giving support. From what I have read Intuitive Eating and Thin

Within are the same basically, right? The one exception being the the religious

aspect? I saw a post from Sara about the book When Women Stop Hating Their

Bodies, I had to order it lol. It sounds like just what I need to read! Anyone

who has read it, how was it? Thanks for having me and I hope to get to know

everyone soon!
