Guest guest
Hi everyone, I had my checkup with Dr. Randall today and I down 165 pounds according to his scale. Not too bad LOL. Anyway, we talked about having the 'girdle' removed. In other words, a tummy tuck. He suggested that I set up an appointment. He's looking at about the middle of Autumn. I just wanted to toss out some questions for you folks who have had it done either by him or someone else. Not to get graphic, but he said that just cuts it off with no liposuction and that it's an overnight thing. I would be out of work for two weeks. Is that true? What else can you tell me about it? I really want to get rid of it. I've had the damn thing all my life but I'm not sure if I'm up for another operation and I'm also afraid that a wound will develop like when I had my wls (that I still have to a certain degree). I really don't want to deal with something like that again. My wife thinks I should definatly go for it and I respect her opinion but I also value your opinions (God knows, you all have one LOL) and just want some feedback. Sorry to go on so long but if you could help me out I would really appreciate it. By the way, the list has been updated. Thanks Don

Guest guest
, A thought popped up for me that I wanted to share with you for your consideration. Have you ever considered that eating until 'sick' has a positive aspect you are overlooking? It not only is letting you know that your body can and still is able to 'tell' you information - even if it has to go to that extreme? And it also is a form of 'permission' to STOP which you may feel you lack at this time? Yes, that over sweet 'sick' feeling is an old familiar one and while it may feel comfortable in its familiarity, is it really what you want for yourself? You could even go so far as to see it as a re-starting point or 'penitence'? If you continue to act and re-act in the same pattern, you will get the same results ;-) The trick here is to find a way, even a very minor one, to make a change that can be the start of re-structuring this in a more positive way for yourself. Best to you, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > Why do I like the resultant sick feeling caused by a sugar binge better than true meal fullness? If I liked frosting I'm sure that would work for me... I instinctively AIM 4 this sickish sensation. =^( > Knobloch > Sent from my BlackBerry® wireless device from U.S. Cellular >
