I woke up this morning to realize my refrigerator is dead.

Everything in the freezer was cool but completely defrosted. I have

already thown away lots of food or moved them to the fridge at work

but have a couple items that I'm not certain about. What do you

think:

Yogurt - I have some homemade yogurt in the fridge. I remember

reading when you drip yogurt you don't have to keep it in the

refrigerator which seems odd to me. Could the homemade yogurt I have

in the fridge still be eaten after not being chilled for about 24

hours?

Eggs - I have heard that sometimes grocery stores will have eggs

unrefrigerated for a day. This sounds odd to me but when faced with

having already spent my grocery money, I have to salvage whatever I

can. Do you think they would be OK if I use them in baked goods or

cook them thoroughly?
