Guest guest
has anyone here had endometrial ablation done? (that is where the uterine lining is removed in order to reduce/eliminate periods). My periods have gotten so bad that I generally can't make it to work the day my period starts because it's extremely painful (even after Excedrin AND Aleve!) and the bleeding is so heavy I don't think I can even make it to work without an " incident " . I'm thinking about getting the ablation done since I'm done having children - in fact I had my tubes tied when the twins were born. But I thought I'd ask around for personal stories before I commit to doing it... thanks! Mikki
Guest guest
Mikki, if it is only during the time of month. You might considering talk to doctor about that. In that case I have problem like that only it trigger bleeding a lot longer up worth of 8 months last year. It took a while to figure how to stop this bleeding so to stop the pain. I never had to go through surgey since I never have kids of my own. However, for you if you do not want more kids. Maybe time for you talk to doctor about the peroid and pain issues. Sound like that it may gets worse. For one never know what might happen. Set up with doctor and discuss that problem with her or him. Eliza > > has anyone here had endometrial ablation done? Guest guest
I have discussed with my Dr. and thought about it. But, I'm not that bad all the time, just every once in a while. Since I don't have insurance right now, I can't do much but deal the best I can. At least I haven't missed any work from my monthly. Alana > > has anyone here had endometrial ablation done?
