Guest guest
I've had the worst time trying to post messages. Has anyone else had this problem? The last four times I've tried, it never made it!!! Anyway, this is what I tried to post: I had something very embarrassing happen to me today and I know that probably some or all of you may have experienced this before: First of all, I bought a house several months ago that is 80 years old and has 10ft ceilings and very tall windows. I had purchased plenty of lace sheers for the front windows and had hung all but one. My office is in my home and my assistant was here working as well as my best friend who is remodeling the bathroom and another friend who is helping with the bathroom. Well, since my assistant was using the computer (I only have one right now), I decided to hang the last sheer and put up rose garlands. I got my step ladder that I've had for years and put the sheer up with no problem. When I went to put up the garlands, I stepped up on the ladder and when I got to the top I immediately felt the ladder collapse under me! I landed on my feet and wasn't hurt, but the metal legs on the stepladder were crushed and it made a huge noise. Of course all three came running and found me just standing there kind of stunned. Once they found out I was okay they all realized what had happened and just left the room and nothing else was said. I think they were embarrassed for me, but I was more embarrassed than I think I ever have been in my life. Thank goodness it was just friends, but it was still embarrassing. I couldn't even laugh about it and got really upset. Once I calmed down, I decided that even though this was a horrible thing to happen, I'm going to do my best to turn it into a positive thing and never let it happen again. Once I get my paperwork and doctor's appointments done, I'll be able to schedule a date which is the first step on my journey to good health, a new me and no more crushed step ladders! I never want to be in a situation again where someone is embarrassed for me because of my weight! BTW - I'm going to have my mother help me hang the rest of the sheers and garlands in the house! I'll supervise and she can do the work!

Guest guest
I bet that was embarrassing I was in Taco Bell the other day and some kids started staring at me and wouldn't stop. I had to get up and leave. I felt embarrassed. Jill
Guest guest
I once broke a fancy dining chair in the home of strangers. I wasn't all that heavy at the time. Very embarassing. Anoter incident that was funny was at a family reunion talking with a couple of my favorite uncles the alum. lawn chair started slowly bending all the way down to the ground until I was lying flat of my back on the ground, and I never stopped talking and acted as if nothing at all was happening. I loved it, I think they wet their pants. Mitch -- In MiniGastricBypassonelist, " Jacquet " <sej_cpa@m...> wrote: > I've had the worst time trying to post messages. Guest guest
Hi Gang, I 'm still reading everyone's posting but, I'm so depressed about my situation. I don't know what to do next, my insurance has denied me twice and I have talked to the HR guy from Kansas City (the big wig) and it seems like they listens but they weren't to promising either, I explained to them that this is a eating disorder and that I need help ect... but I don't think they care just too much I feel it was their " JOB " to listen to me!!!! Why I guess I'm going to the doctors tomorrow and ask for those great diet pills once more ,because that is the only way I have enough will power to stay away for food, also I going to start walking again, same old crap diet pill ,diet pills!!!!!!Thanks for listening I'm so down I don't even want to show my face outside, with summer coming and such nice weather coming it only depresses me because I don't even want to think about putting on summer cloths. Well wish me luck and pray for me!!!!! Suzi Remley Re: Re: Trouble posting? > > >Hi Mitch that was a good story.
