Guest guest
Here's another: " Long Live Life!!! Down with Death, Disease & Suffering!! Yep, I'm still here. Haven't gone " no mail " yet. Can't do without staying in daily contact with this egroup. You people are my shot in the arm everyday. The first thing I head for in the morning is my computer to read your messages. Just being in your caring, knowledgeable, experienced company has raised my inner spirits & given me hope & helpful health information I haven't had in years. It's not wise & it's even self-destructive to be thinking/ feeling I'm dying. That's such a self-defeatist attitude. Maybe if I just monitor my " death/dying " thoughts & change them to " life/living " ones as often as I catch myself thinking that way, it will work for a positive change. Can't hurt anyway. So now I'm working on it. Remind me if I slip & start sounding negative again, okay? Can't have that. I mean after all the studying I've done the past 20 years in metaphysics for being a (now retired) ordained teaching/preaching spiritualist minister/astrologer & how our thoughts can change our lives for better or worse, I ought to know better. Well they say we teach what we need to learn. So true. I do believe that " thoughtforms " become " things " so our thoughts & our words do tend to manifest as our reality. So I've got to return to practicing what I used to preach. Caroline Re: Motto for the new year... How about " I affirm I'll be more alive in 2005 " & I drink to confirming that. Guest guest
Caroline, Now, that sounds more like it. It's good to here your change of heart. Thanks for sharing your innermost. It helps all of us to remind one another to think positive. The natural part of us will flow into the stream of despair. It may be rough at time, but we must flow up stream to where the water is wonderful. Keep on, keepin' on! Crystal > Here's another: > " Long Live Life!!! Guest guest
TY, Crystal. Maybe the natural thyroid I've been taking the past few days is working to help my mind work more hopefully/positively. Also my son came with a friend over the weekend, brought me a newer car & helped me with scads of stuff in my house & yard I just can't do anymore & can't afford to pay anyone to do. So it's a huge relief to have all that done & have a new car so I can drive again after a month without any. I guess just feeling all that loving stuff my son did for me & having him & his friend here & all the stuff that got done infused me with new energy. It's great to have someone show so much love to us, isn't it? Very supportive & encouraging. Two of my four adult kids usually do that for me when/if I see them which is hardly ever anymore since we're all living so far apart now. I even made a new time/efficiency schedule for myself for all else I still gotta do, errand running, appointments & mental work mostly. And I plan to get back into doing a bit of at least some slow-movement stretching exercises, deep breathing & endocrine gland exercises to clean & balance those & the rest of my body/mind. Nothing too strenuous tho & at least 15 minutes of walking outside in the fresh air, leisurely at first tho & not far from home. I wrote all that into my schedule too. So it's like New Year's resolutions here. And things are looking up again. I'll keep on truckin' you bet. The schedule is just a loose plan, not something I'll be a time-slave to. But a guideline mostly to use flexibly as best I can. But schedules do help me to stay grounded & focused. And also to get necessary things done for myself & my own well-being. Guest guest
Whether you realize it or not, I think that the natural thyroid is already having good effects, also! It's hard to see that in the beginning, but, yes, a good relationship with children and other people also do miracles also. This is the spice of life. Guest guest
Well what I wrote in that previous email you responded to isn't what I've been feeling the past day or so which is just plain crappy, no energy, can't do all the stuff on my schedules, too tired, aches & pains everywhere, hands/fingers hurt/stiff & I'm clumsy as an ox spilling & dropping, breaking things too much lately. Is that another hypoT symptom? I did get a few things done tho in my new car around town today tho including pickup up the Armour generic Rx & others.....finally. The gen.Armour is only for 30mg a day but that's twice as much as the 15 mg the druggist originally said it was. But even 30 mg is nothing, really. But didn't get as much other stuff done as I had planned...too tired, in pain & too stiff to do anymore. So oh well, we'll see how it goes tomorrow after a good night's sleep & another generic Armour 15 mg increase. Haven't felt much of a change so far tho there might be something going on I can't detect much yet. Can't expect much on ony l grain a day tho I guess. Caroline Re: Re: Motto for the new year... Guest guest
Oh geez...I wrote that about my newer car about 2 weeks ago. things have changed since then. The schedule is down the tubes now. Can't have structured daily schedules like I used to. I have to rest because of probable adrenal exhaustion for which I have all the symptoms & will be tested next Monday. I've also now got a whole of acid indigestion & hoping I don't have an ulcer so haven't been feeling all that good. On the other hand, the Armour's starting to work because my hands, feet & nose are warmer. So here's hoping things will get better in the digestion & adrenal dept. Thanx for the well wishes & support, Caroline RE: Re: Motto for the new year... That's so wonderful, Caroline! I'm so happy for you! in Va. * TY, Crystal.
