My first ENT was like your doc...wouldn't give me more medication even though the Free T4 was still .77. I don't know what kind of power trip they're on...but i don't have time for it. I learned there was Armour available without a prescription from these forum groups...and they taught me how to self-medicate...and it's probably the best medical decision I ever made. Guest guest
Hi there . You simply need to be on a LOT more Armour with it's direct T3. Yes, waiting nine weeks is far too long to keep you where you are. You have to find a better doc, or send off for more Armour from myrxforless. Additionally, you appear to have Hashi's, which can skew your results---showing one thing at one particular test, and something different at the next test. You have to dose by symptoms! And an a.m. cortisol test is not enough. You could be " normal " in the morning, yet high in the night, which can cause that insomnia. Janie After being on meds for 13 weeks (over > 3 months) I'm REALLY concerned about the drowsiness and insomnia. > > My test results: > > Here's my test results: > > 8 wks on synthroid 50 = 3.04 before synthroid 6.9 > T4 free 1.4 (.8-1.8) > T4 Total 9.7 (4.5-12.5) > T3 free 325 (230-420) > Thyroglobulin antibidies 7 H (<2) > Thyroid Peroxidase <2 (<2) > > > Thanks, >
Guest guest
Hi Janie! How much more armour, what do you recommend? How can I convince another dr to give me more armour? I read for my weight 140 I should be on about 100 synthroid, so equal to that is what I'm on and I'm not getting relief. I have some cytomel (in 25 strength) that I could add to the armour, how much of that would you suggest? Thanks, > > Hi there . You simply need to be on a LOT more Armour with it's > direct T3.
