Guest guest
I just wanted to say a hello to everyone. Im new here and I hope to learn how to eat right, and meet others like me. I feel that with the right kind of support from others who are going through the same as yourself, it is much easer to acheave your goal. Well here is a little about myself, Im 26 years old, a stay at home mom, with 3 little ones. Im an emotional eater and I weigh 280 lbs. My problem isnt with the excersizing, its with my eating habbits. I feel that if I learned how to eat right again I can lose my weight. I stay active a lot with my kids and I try to get in a few miles of walking daily on the weekdays. but whats holding me back is my emotional eating. I'v tried just about every kind of diets but just nothing seems to work bc I keep going back to whats comforting to me. I hope to learn how to do the intuitive eating. and I hope to gain some friends along the way.
Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I'm laughing because when I read "fur children" I thought it was a typo and you meant "four children". I realize you meant "fur children" now, lol. I have two fur children; two cute kittys; Tommy and Allie. :.) Welcome to IE; I love it very, very much; it's so much greater than I can even describe. I love the freedom to eat from internal cues rather than follow what's imposed upon us by others. I love that I don't have to be afraid of food anymore. I don't always love dealing with emotions without food, lol, but I love that I've learned how to and know that I can. Great to have you here, Laurie To: IntuitiveEating_Support Sent: Mon, November 30, 2009 11:39:47 AMSubject: Hello all Hello everyone. I'm new to the group and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sharon. I'm 49 years old and would love to release approximately 100 pounds in order to reach my ideal weight and be in better health. I live in the country with my husband and our "fur children".
