I'm glad you went to a different hospital the second time. in Va. How can I add one to the " GIVE ME A BREAK " files? I have one that is poetically funny (sad) Extremely ill and having gastric pains too, I went to emergency and upon querying, told them that I took no medictaons other than a natural thyroid supplement. They ran some tests and came back and suggested that my problem could be that I was on Armour thyroid and that maybe was coming down with something too. They said that I should stop taking the thyroid and sent me home. I could hardly walk out and was running into walls at this point. Several days later I ended up in a different hospital where I lost part of my kidney due to abcessing from a severe ecoli infection. I was hospitalized for 10 days and they nearly lost me...imagine - and the first emergency room said I should stop taking the thyroid as it was probably my problem. Anyone who hasn't read the GIVE ME A BREAK folder in the FILES section should. It's becoming engorged with ridiculous statements made my idiot docs. Sadly hilarious.
