Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Although I have read a couple of the IE books and I realize that hunger is different for everyone, I notice that for me the kind of hunger that I experience seems to be different from the examples that I see as different. It seems that when I am hungry, I notice a " burning sensation " (its not painful :)in my stomach sometimes combined with perhaps a little lightheadedness at times (not always). Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts/comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi , Yes, I have this signs of lightheadedness sometimes when I got hungry. Which usual when I wait too long before eating anything or had to wait to finish cooking the meal. Some meals do cooking for long time. That is one thing I usual find something really small snack to hold it over. Guest guest
I seem to remember Latoya mentioning that she experiences a 'warm' sensation in her stomach area when she gets hungry. Hopefully she will read your post too and confirm this for you Katcha > > Hi Everyone, > > Although I have read a couple of the IE books and I realize that hunger is different for everyone, I notice that for me the kind of hunger that I experience seems to be different from the examples that I see as different. Guest guest
, As Katcha mentioned, I have noticed a warming sensation in my abdomen area when I am getting hungry and when hungry. The warming sensation dissipates and is no longer noticeable when I'm in a steady non-hunger state. I did a fair amount of experimentation with watching and tracking my hunger signals so that I could really be clear about my personal hunger process. I don't typically get lightheaded when hungry...only in extreme cases of being over-hungry, which hasn't happened in a really long time. I have noticed light-headedness when I'm really dehydrated. I've discovered that some body signals (even certain stomach growling) that I used to believe were hunger signals, are actually signals of dehydration. So, when I get a sick or lighted-headed feeling, I try to remember to drink water first. Eating/craving certain watery foods is one way that our bodies get hydrated (e.g., ice cream, watermelon, juices, etc.), especially for people like me, who have typically followed the pattern of camels (i.e., going long lengths of time without drinking water). Since, I've made peace with water and it is now my drink of choice, I don't crave certain watery foods as much. It makes sense that the water need and food need have some connection points. Guest guest
Latoya, Thanks for the reply. I also drink quite a bit of water. I will half to pay attention to my body to see if the burning sensation is related to dehydration. > > , > > As Katcha mentioned, I have noticed a warming sensation in my abdomen area when I am getting hungry and when hungry.
