Guest guest
I find that when I am relaxed I eat alot slower and enjoy. Baba Ram Dass once said when eating lift lift, place place, chew chew, taste taste, swallow swallow, digest digest. I think sometimes we become so complacent about eating we forget to slow down and chew our food properly, thus allowing some time to savor and enjoy it more thoroughly. My teacher used to " Your stomach does not have teeth " . Funny eh? This was said out of his observance from watching us eat pasta.

Guest guest
I so agree with this. I know when I really concentrate on chewing my food well, I don't have as much digestive issues. This and 'the stomach doesn't have teeth' really speaks to me. Sometimes I'm a speed eater and hmmmm... my stomach doesn't care or want the food that fast!!
