Guest guest Posted August 6, 2009 Report Share Posted August 6, 2009 Hi there, I am laurie. i am new to the intuitive eating group. after 2 stints in rehab, i have been in recovery from anorexia, overeating/undereating for the last 13 years. my tendency is to undereat. i started the intuitive eating process about 7 months ago because i still found that i was so focused on the food and my body, the perfection of it all. i have had the flu for the last 2 days so i cannot work out. working out is not my problem, it's being gentle around the exercise that needs healing. i can be an exercise junkie at times. so i have been in bed the last 2 days. it is hard to just eat and trust that my body is okay, and also to give myself permission to slow down.
