Guest guest
Latoya, it sounds like your P & J sandwich perked you up! I am glad you are finding food to be - well - FOOD! Some days its exciting and other days its just necessary ;-) My thoughts are you reserved your energies for other, more positive undertaking and didn't drain yourself with stressing over 'what ought I to eat?'. Good progress ehugs, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > After practicing IE for a little bit over a year, I continue to be > grateful for how much more peaceful I am with food and the eating > process. Guest guest
I am going to have to read that book some day. Apart of my motivation for starting IE as well was so that I would not pass on my poor eating habits and pain to my children. I find it ironic that some parents feel that not limiting your kids eating will result in them eating only junk. From my experience, it was the complete opposite. Thanks! - K > > > > After practicing IE for a little bit over a year, I continue to be > > grateful for how much more peaceful I am with food and the eating > > process. Guest guest
That's true! I try not to limit my two year old's eating and he asks for vegetables and fruit on a regular basis. My MIL was trying to make him eat breakfast yesterday and he didn't want it. I had to tell her three times not to force him - he'd eat what he wanted when he was hungry. She doesn't get IE at all, so it's a struggle. > > > > > > After practicing IE for a little bit over a year, I continue to be > > > grateful for how much more peaceful I am with food and the eating > > > process.
