Latoya, it sounds like your P & J sandwich perked you up! I am glad you

are finding food to be - well - FOOD! Some days its exciting and other

days its just necessary ;-) My thoughts are you reserved your energies

for other, more positive undertaking and didn't drain yourself with

stressing over 'what ought I to eat?'. Good progress :)

I am going to have to read that book some day.

Apart of my motivation for starting IE as well was so that I would not pass on

my poor eating habits and pain to my children.

I find it ironic that some parents feel that not limiting your kids eating will

result in them eating only junk. From my experience, it was the complete

opposite.

That's true! I try not to limit my two year old's eating and he asks for

vegetables and fruit on a regular basis. My MIL was trying to make him eat

breakfast yesterday and he didn't want it. I had to tell her three times not to

force him - he'd eat what he wanted when he was hungry. She doesn't get IE at

all, so it's a struggle.
