Guest guest
Hi Tricia I am a diabetic who had surgery almost 5 months ago. To date I have lost 90.5 pounds. I was taking medication for Blood Pressure and Diabetes and thanks to the weight loss I am no longer doing so. So yes it did improve those things for me. Not immediately mind you but over a few months I was able to come off all but 1 of the 20 pills I was taking before surgery (that is not including the 4 shots per day). Candi I'M A NEWBIE Hi my name is Tricia I'm 53 and I'm 5'1' and weigh 207, I'm interested in talking with those who have had the gastric bypass, I'm seriously considering it. From what I have read on this matter if u have tachycardia, high b/p. & diabetes having the surgery improves your chances of coming off the meds for these problems. So I thot what better way to find out what it's all about by talking with those who have had it or those who are also considering it. So if u will give me an idea of what I'm getting into. At this point in my life carrying all this weight around could cause the above diseases to increase so I need to make a decision. Of course there is the cosmetic reasons too, who wouldn't love to be back to wearing smaller sizes and looking more like the woman my hubby married. looking forward to hearing from some of u. Gentle hugs Tricia
