Doesn't sound very encouraging.

Adrenal Crash (Was:Re: HEELLP!!! Outrageous

labs)

The adrenals and thyroid are intimately related in balancing your

bodies energy. When one is sick so is the other. Some people need

only treat one and the other follows with health. Some people , such

as myself, need to treat both. Then it is a balancing act of who is

worse or better today.

Yes - and that balancing act is pretty challenging!

I think the 8 years of struggling with this disease has taken a toll

on my adrenals. I hope by supporting them now with glanulars and

vitamins will help to strengthen them. But then also by changing my

thyroid dose, it's hard to tell which symptom is related to what!

I'm trying to be more patient than I have in the past! I'm trying not

to freak out if a symptom is worse or feel too encouraged if I feel

better -- because more than likely it will change within a few days!

Sometimes it's hard to imagine all the symptoms ever really being

corrected. But the stories of others who are better help a lot. Just

hope I'm on the right track! Debbie

I think that it sounds VERY encouraging. I think that she's referring to

the balancing act as being one of " we're not always going to feel perfect

every minute of every day, and we need to keep vigilant for upping and

lowering thyroid " , and just generally paying attention. I don't think that

we'll magically be doing cartwheels overnight, but for some, it HAS been

that way. Wasn't for me, but when I look back at a yr ago, it IS magical,

in that I could hardly get out of bed. I still have a ways to go, but I

know I'm going to " be there " , with patience. Some damage has been done, but

it doesn't mean that other things can't improve, or even the things where

there's been damage done.

Well I'm willing to follow a regular schedule of taking the generic or Armour

thyroid & upping it as necessary, yes. But if I'm still feeling this lousy after

a few months, then I doubt I'll be doing much other " vigilance " since I lost the

motivation for doing so the last year or so about everything.

First, in order to add or restart more exercise or other stuff I used to do,

I'll have to start feeling better first. Otherwise, I'll continue to feel as if

I'm dying & having dreams of death & dying ongoing as I have been. Meaning I

haven't many years to live at the rate I'm going with all the damage to my cells

& immune system already & increasing as it has been.

Call me cynical, negative & giving up if you will, but I've never been that way

except for the past few years or so.

And before that too for the past several years as I've been

deteriorating more & more & my body/mind keeps telling me I'm dying little by

little here.

Have you considered the posibility of heavy metal toxicity?

Check out: noamalgam.com.

I personally, am at this site becasue my thyroid is trashed form

mercury....in other words, the thyroid is just a side affect of other worse

problems.

No doubt I have that too. I've read all about that years ago. I'm having all the

rest of my upper teeth pulled (5 left) this winter. Also maybe the few bottom

ones I have left as they're causing me problems as well. So that should get rid

of whatever metals are left in my teeth as I'll have dentures soon. As for

detoxing it from my body, well that's another matter. I'm working on that too

tho. thanx anyway,
