I just wanted to let everyone know that I was told that the Quality Hotel

wasnt a nice place to stay. It is in a bad area from what i have been told

and it is about 30- 40 minutes from the hospital. A round trip taxi round

would be around $80 . AAA gives it 2 stars

Just something to take into consideration when planning all this. the hotel

is like $77 with tax a night plus 80 in taxi fare round trip to hospital your

already at like $157 a day.....when the nice hotel is $150 a night and fare

for taxi to hospital is like $6 for 2 people and you are just just minutes

from the hospital and in a beautiful area.

I realize that not all of us or maybe even any of us can afford the $150 a

night rate that the hotels offer as the hospital rate.

I have found some info on some other places:

1) Floral Parkmotor Lodge-it is 15 minutes from hospital and was recommended

to me twice from area residents. It is in Little Neck and the rates i got

qouted were $106 plus tax for 2 people and $93 for one. The car service said

it would be about $15 one way. The web site i think has much to be desired

gives the lodge 3 stars!

I was also given the name in Westbury Ny. There phone # is

. I do not know to much about this place .Car service said it

would be about a $25 ride one way.I got qouted a promptional rate for a room

and it was $119 ..but dont expect to get this rate. i asked about AAA and the

rate they qouted was much higher.

well hope this helps everyone that needs help. Please email me if i can be of

any more assistance. My surgury is in three weeks and will be staying at the

Floral Park as it now stands until surgury date. need to go up before hand
