Guest guest
I read that cortisone is supposed to add on weight and I am already 100 lbs overweight. I suspect in the case that it is needed for thyroid, it is not so, but I really don't know. ANy input on that? ~Inga _____________ ? on 11/4/04 7:31 AM, matocikala2001 at tayamni@... wrote: Sorry, HC stands for hydrocortisone. It's such a pain to type it out that it has been abbreviated by many. So, yes, many of us are using cortisone. I'm sure someone else has already answered your post in detail. :-) I have dropped my amount of HC and now plan to start on sheep cortical extract...if I can recall the name. , Nutri-Meds is both cortical and medullary extract.( I think I recall correctly ) I don't want the adrenaline. I don't need adrenaline! LOL NOT for this reactive personality! Guest guest
I definitely added a bit to my lower belly during my first 2 weeks on 20 mg of hc. Some people have not gained weight. But then, during these 4 months on Armour i have gotten fatter...so maybe I am a bad example? Guest guest
When I started taking it I didn't gain any weight but it somewhat redistributed - I already carry it mostly in my belly and now it is even more in my belly and also in my butt region. I really hate it of course. Jen R. -- Re: HC + weight I read that cortisone is supposed to add on weight and I am already 100 lbs overweight.
