Guest guest
Haha... hmm let's see k like any k, then ts like hmm I can't find a word in english with ts - I'm sure there is. Anyways, exactly what it looks like - first say a t then an s. Then i like in sit, then another ts and then either an a (sounds like the u in hut) for singular or ot (like in hot, more or less) for plural. Of course what you're having a problem with is the tsits in the middle - practise that for a while then add the k at the beginning and the a (or ot) at the end. Of course, it isn't really important unless you plan on visiting Israel and even then you can get by without it . Vered > OK, Vered . . . I've tried and tried to figure it out, to no avail. Guest guest
Well, I was over at my mom's yesterday and got all this food she made me. So I've been munching down on lots of meat today: B. 2 small meat patties L. 3 (or 4?) meatballs in tomato sauce, zucchini and cauliflower L. 1 chicken breast, breaded with soy flour, 4 small meat patties (aka ktsitsot - they're irresistable!), 3 tiny pickles S. 2.5 pecans D. Tania's chopped liver - yum, 8 pepperoni slices nuked into chips, dipped in cottage cheese. Not a lot of veggies today, will rectify tomorrow. According to fitday - 1440 cals (low for me), 76 fat, 17 carb of which 4 fiber, 163 protein I'm working at the SPCA this week (which is why I have to get up early tomorrow, ick) and have packed some LC food because I'll be there till 4pm. Don't want anyone tempting me with their sandwich . Tomorrow morning's weigh in will be 1 week of LC again - I can't wait (I had a hint when I stepped on the scale before but I don't want to jinx it... hmm have I ? ). Guest guest
Hehe... there IS no i or anything between the k and the t. I forgot that kind of thing is a problem for non Israelis too. However, you should know that Slovak has even less vowels than hebrew - they have whole words without one vowel! Off to work (late) Vered > OK, here's my best shot, and pardon the spit on the monitor . . . > > Is it anything like this, with a just barely there 'i' between the k and s? > > kit-sit-sot . . . . or . . . kit-sit-suh > > > Terry > 168/158.25/156 (minigoal)/ ?
