Guest guest
Hey JZZ - I do 60 to 80 mg every 7 days which I self inject either into my thigh or right butt cheek. I rotate the positions each week. It is really a piece of cake and is the only way to do injections on that fast of a frequency. I use to use a 22g needle with a 3 cc syringe. This is a big needle but is standard for inter-muscular injections. I just started using a 25g and 1 cc syringe with a needle that is 5/8ths inch long. I sink it all the way in and it is much more comfortable. Arkansas Barbara <jzzlvr13@...> wrote: Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel. I was just wondering...how often do you have to take them, do you have to go to the docs or do you give them to yourself (those self injecting type.) Thanks, jzz
Guest guest
Started on AG then switched to injections, have not looked back. First injections were 75mg each week with a big 22 guage needle in the glutes at home, wife is a nurse, she never hurt me doing the injections. Now i do my own injections. Now on 50mg injection every 3-4 days with a 25 guage 1/2 inch needle, mostly in the thigh but sometimes sub-q in the belly. Also using HGC to keep the boys alive. Have tried all sorts of injection routines, max was 150mg which 48 hours later put my blood level in the upper band of the range. At the low end was 75mg a week, which was too little. At 100mg a week my blood levels are below mid-range. > > Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel. Guest guest
Had a vial that started to give me infections at the injection site so i placed to vial in a pot of water on the stove, the vial is upright with an inch or less of water and at a very slow boil, the vial will dance around but not fall over, did this for 20 mins and all was fine afterwards with the injections. One key item is to place a needle without syringe in the rubber top to let the pressure out while you boil it. The needle should stick in just below the rubber in the air above the oil. > > > > Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel. I only did this twice, because the highs and lows were too extreme. The last time a couple of days before the next injection was due, I had a blood test and the T value was below the bottom of the range. Thats when I switched to self-injections and I do them on a weekly basis. Rich
Guest guest
I'm not sure that's a good thing to do. I believe Depo-T breaks down to different chemical compositions at a certain temperature. The bottle clearly states to store in a well controlled environment between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius (68 to 72 degrees F) and to keep out of direct sun light. I don't believe that the Depo-T mixture would be any good after boiling. I'm not sure I'd recommend that. If I wasn't at the end of my vial I would have taken it back to the pharmacy and asked for a replacement. But since I had used almost all of it up prior to realizing it was a contaminated bottle, I couldn't return it. Oh well! Guest guest
Well that is how they make depot testosterone, they heat it up to melt it and add it to hot oil and heat up that mixture. The melting point of testosterone is 155 F (powder) Melting point of testosterone cypionate is 208.4 - 219 F You can microwave or bake testosterone with no problems if done right. > > > > > > > > Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel.
