I've heard it's wise to deal with gut issues before using DMSA, as it can encourage yeast growth, but I didn't think that applied with transdermal treatments. Guest guest
Hi Emma, I can't say that I'm an expert on BioSET since we just started and I am still on Chapter One of Ellen Cutler's book, " The Food Allergy Cure " . I do know that BioSET is one step above NAET and my practitioner started out doing NAET and said she continued her training with BioSET and has found it to be more effective. When she mentioned preparing for chelation, she is talking about the detoxing pathways. I am assuming that we have biochemical pathways that help our bodies get rid of toxins and she is using BioSET to clear those pathways or make them work more efficiently so the body can excrete the heavy metals. I don't know the ins and outs of this but I'll continue to report our experience if anyone else is interested. By the way, gut issues will never go away until the heavy metals are out of the body....at least that is what I have been told. On another list there has been some mention of yeast rising it's ugly head even when using TD-DMPS. It just may not be as bad as putting the chemical directly into the GI tract. That's all I know and understand about BioSET but I am certainly going to learn more as time goes by. Hope this helps somewhat and take care, Becky in Chesapeake, VA with 10 yr old on SCD 22+weeks > > " We are going to go back to eliminate more sensitivities and to > get his body ready to detoxify using Dr. Buttar's transdermal DMPS. Guest guest
Becky, What exactly is BioSET? Does it use acupuncture? Has it been expensive? Bodily distasteful to a child? Has it required lots of office visits? Really curious about this one. Any information you can give/explain would be great. Thanks, Bonnie, SCD 8 weeks > Hi Emma, > I can't say that I'm an expert on BioSET since we just started and > I am still on Chapter One of Ellen Cutler's book, " The Food Allergy > Cure " ..... Guest guest
The detoxification itself brings gut issues if your child is toxic. > > I'm very interested in both TD-DMPS and BioSET.
