I am afraid this is a internet/tv myth. CBS did not 'cancel touched

by an angel because it uses the word God in every episode.' You can

tell this, because the word God appears in CBS's Friday night show,

Joan of Arcadia, over and over again in each episode. CBS (which i

used to work for and is souless and yucky for lot's of other reasons)

cancelled touched by an angel because it's been on forever and has

lost it's audience...Joan of Arcadia is a far better written program

which is very spiritual and positive...and the other show has just

died a natural tv death after a long run. ---
