Guest guest
Deb,Thank you for the wonderful insight! I love it. I love the thought of inviting Mr. Hyde in and the fact that it's making him diminish! SharonSubject: Jekkyl / Hyde updateTo: IntuitiveEating_Support Date: Saturday, August 29, 2009, 11:09 AM I posted before about my "Mr. Hyde" that comes out at night. And I've been practicing "inviting him in" instead of "shutting him out" and I'm finding that Mr. Hyde seems to not be so powerful lately. Although I'm still engaging in the overeating behavior, it seems to be that it's losing its power over me. By allowing and inviting the behavior, it is beginning to diminish. Like my old counselor used to say that quote - I think it's from the bible??? - "resist not" and "agree with your adversary." What an awakening! I am so appreciative of this group. Thanks very much for reminding me I'm not alone in this. Deb
