Guest guest
I suspect almost everyone here doesn't know me. I haven't posted in years. I had my posterior fossa decompression in 1998 and have done great since. No symptoms. However, in October I had surgery with general anesthesia (hiatal hernia repair) and I told the anesthesiolgist about my ACM surgery and to be very careful with the hyperextension on my neck. Ever since I am having a lot of pain in the left side of my neck, left shoulder and arm. If I take a deep breath and even when I burp I have a sharp, stabbing pain run through my shoulder and neck. I also now have that tingling, something crawling under my skin feeling in the mid-back on the left like before the ACM surgery. I am scared to death that I have a pinched nerve or the C1 laminectomy has been messed up. I have had so many health problems since this surgery I hate to go to the doc with another one! Has anyone had a pinched nerve in the neck? Is this what it feels like? Does it heal in time? Jen
