Guest guest
I think I'm doing pretty good. I also decided to finish craft projects and I've "cleaned up" all but 3 of them. I'm making a purse to go with her dress for Prom, working on a cross stitch for a friend and cutting up blue jeans for a bed sized quilt. Weight loss (or dealing with weight) I'm doing better. A friend and I are walking one time around the duck pond every other day or so. It's a flat surface and I can make it around once without straining my hips or back. It's like 1/5 of a mile once around. Not much but I'm moving. I'm DEALING with my weight ok. I found that Goody's has some beautiful plus sized clothes so I spent $100 yesterday on some NICE summer clothes. I think if I dress better, I may feel better about myself. We'll see. Being harder on Tina: I'm getting way too good at this LOL Those were mine. GREAT job Tyra on the swimming. That's a major accomplishment! I'm proud of you!! Christy How are we doing on our NY's resolutions I was looking through my sent message, because I was going to delete them, and I noticed that I had responded to the New Years’ Resolution Thread that was going on at the beginning of the year…. So I started to wonder how everyone else was doing with their new years resolutions…. Still keeping them going?? Here were my resolutions for this year (the pink came from my original post) Don’t start a new craft project until the one I am working on is completely done (this is a biggie for me) – I guess you could say that I’ve kept this one, I haven’t started a new craft project, because I haven’t had the time… Stop being so critical of myself and the people around. – I’ll get on that one….. but I think I’m getting better Start reading more, and academic books don’t count - I been trying to read more, but I have noticed that it’s taking more longer to read a book than it used to Increase my activity level so I can get some of this extra weight off. – Defiantly, this has become a major victory for me, I finally learned how to swim…. And I’m doing that 3-4 times a week… pounds are coming off slowly, the inches are melting away, and I have better stamina and muscle tone.
