Oh, Junelle,

(What a pretty name!!)

My hair has always been baby fine and hard to manage. Mom always kept it short

saying it would never grow long (of course not, when she kept cutting it!) so

once I was off to college, I let it grow. My whole adult life it has been

halfway down my back but still fine. Now after eating Atkins for 2 years it has

body. I didn't even realize it until someone on one of these lists made the

observation of her hair.

I generally brush it, pony tail it, and wrap it around a child's slap bracelet

to keep it out of my way so I never paid any attention to how it was improving.

So I am very pleased. If the weather ever cools down I might enjoy wearing my

hair down. And the slap bracelet puts a curl in it so if I wear it up at night,

I can have waves the next day!

Usually it is just the opposite! Have you had your other hormones checked?

This sounds like too much Testosterone or a lack of Progesterone or

Estrogen.

>>i was told my estrogen was low due to what time i was at in my

monthly cycle.<<

I am afraid I can't help you here. It has been half a lifetime ago since I

had a period, so my levels of female hormones are surgically messed up! LOL

Maybe have it tested again, and if still low, maybe a little supplemental

would help.

I have no extra hair growths like wiskers or such. I have ALL my head hair

too...still the same as always, thin but lots of it. I have lost a lot of body &

eyebrown hair tho. But that's all. I've been on Synthroid, btw, for about 6-7

years now. And it's not working.
