Guest guest
Hi Friends, I don't vent very often, but I'm up for a big one! My lower back has been causing problems since this summer, so my primary doctor suggested PT. It was pre authorized and I went for 12 visits. I received a denial of benefits in the mail the other day. I guess our new insurance has a clause that you can only have PT for 60 consecutive days. I had PT for my neck in the spring, and they said that my lumbar problems are all a part of the cervical spine, and they won't provide anymore PT for me for my spine! I asked if I injured my right leg when I was 10 and broke it again when I was an adult and had PT when I was 10, would they pay for the PT as an adult? They said no, I have 60 days on the right leg for a life time. Same goes for the spine. You want to talk " on the war path " ? That is where I am at right now. Insurance had better watch out for me tomorrow. Press, here I come. Kathleen
