welcome. remember that it is never too late to be happy. it is sad when we think

of how long we have let ourselves be obsessed with weight, food, etc. but

everyday and every second is a gift. a chance to make our lives what we want.

losing weight can be euphoric- but so can many other things that WONT lead to

stress and negative feelings.

Welcome! That peace is very obtainable via IE. You no longer have to MAKE (as in

force) yourself to be something it isn't to begin with. Weight is such a

distraction from life and really only a number which you AREN'T ;-) If you

haven't read any non-dieting books, there's a good sized list at the group site

in the Files section.

You are in good company and I know and several others have found that there is

not only life after dieting, but a peaceful one, especially with food!

Best to you - Katcha

IEing since March 20007

Well, I am over 60 and I feel the same way. I don't want to spend the

remainder of my life being consumed by my weight and food. Enough is

enough.
