Guest guest
Hello to all of you, I use to post last summer before I became pregnant. I sticked to intuitive eating while pregnant, eating whatever I wanted, only when hungry, and also doing what felt good, which for me was going swimming twice a week until it triggers too much contractions around the end of the second trimester. I ate a lot of healthy food, but also vinegar chips, which i craved, mac and cheese, and lollipops. I started pregnancy overweight so I was prettty scared to gain too much weight but I refused to put pressure on myself. The results are absolutly amazing: I gained 16 pounds at 33 weeks of pregnancy, which is a healthy amount of weight to gain if you start overweight, I feel great and I am not planning to go on any diet after pregnancy, I am just going to stick with ie (I might post more often.) For me, one of the strange side effect of ie, I believe, is that all my anxiety and depression symptoms vanished. I don't juge myself anymore according to what I look. I feel that I have discovered freedom. Just felt like sharing. Nathalie
Guest guest
Nathalie-Good for you! I wasn't aware that there was such a thing as IE until last Sept. But looking back I naturally ate intuitively while pregnant. Especially my last two pregnancies. I felt great too. Guest guest
Welcome back Nathalie and glad to hear that your pregnancy went well for you. I too have come to find that freedom from eating/food concerns is one of the major benefits of IE and I know I have read that here many times from others too. Hope to read more posts from you as you continue with your IE journey. Best to you, Katcha IEing since March 2007 > > Hello to all of you, > I use to post last summer before I became pregnant.
