I wasn't even diagnosed with hypo until I was nearly 31, so I, too, can look back and think it was going on then. Janie
Guest guest
well since she was on dr phil you can forget about her thyroid being tested. dr phil doesn't think a thyroid problem is but a nagging tiny thing you can take a small tablet for and magically make disappear. hell, if you're fat and can't lose weight and happen to suffer from thyroid disease and say so, you're just making up excuses for yourself! b > > > I only saw a small portion of the Dr Phil show today. But there was a > lady on there who wanted to have a third child after suffering > terrible PPD after her first two. She said she'd had depression > problems since the age of 12 (Ibelieve that was the number) Anyway, > was anyone else sitting there saying, " Get your thyroid tested! Guest guest
I had " baby blues " & got very depressed after the births of all my babies for at least 3 months. Also had bad back aches as I recall & sore throat off & on. Back then, over 45 years ago, the docs gave me a red liquid to drink for the baby blues. It didn't do a thing. My sister go so bad after the birth of her twins she nearly died. She got super fat really quick, had crawling skin sensations, was crying all the time, super fatigued, etc. That went on for months & her husband, meanwhile, decided to have an affair with the woman across the street, being disgusted with my sister, his wife. Our aunt suggested she might have thyroid problems & to ask her doctor, which she did. Don't know what they put her on back then (47 years ago) but it cured her. (I should ask her if she was on Armour back then). She got rapidly better & in a few months was back to her old slim, powerhouse self. Never had any thyroid, depression or other types of those related problems since then, even after two other pregnancies & births. She's always been an athlete so even today at age 69 she's still slim, in great shape, works out all the time at their senior retirement clubhouse gym, plays golf, bike rides, hikes, (but stopped playing tennis now), travels with her same husband, runs their home like a bed & breakfast with friends & family coming & going all the time, etc. etc. Wish I could say the same but I can't. That's not like my life at all. I haven't got a life. But hope to have one some day in the future if at all possible anymore. Guest guest
You're really a big Dr. Phil fan underneath it all, aren't you, Baron?
