Guest guest
Cheryl, I'm not sure why, but in the first month or so of SCD we also had undigested food in our stools. It ended gradually. I wondered about it, too. , Mom to non ASD, IBD daughter, age 8, whole family SCD 11/03 no Imodium since 12/03, Nortryptaline & Imitrex (migraines) other daughters ages 11 and

Guest guest
This is exactly what is going on with us, too, with our 15 month old. One stool perfectly normal, the next yucky, mushy, undigested food. So strange. I'll just keep an eye on him (he's scd about 2 wks now) then. Guest guest
No, they don't have to be given that way but for some reason I have been pureeing things for 4 months! I also cut up veggies very small when I put them in a meat sauce. I still puree for meatloaf. In the beginning I think it is helpful for digestion. Kind of like how easily digestible baby food is then you move on to chunky stuff. Just think it may help to puree. You could try it for a week or so and see how the stools look and then if not helpful go back to chunks. I would just make sure they are cooked well. Kathy > No the veggies are not pureed.
