Guest guest
Hi Sheri, I'm . Glad you have found us. This group is a great support system. Sometimes family/friends will say that a list like this will drag you down, but they are wrong! Tell us about how long you've had RSD and how you got it. Mine was from a plastic grocery bag busting from the bottom and a call falling through onto my left foot. Who would have dreamed it would cause so much trouble! I have a spinal column stimulator, and last Fri. got it fixed and a lead added to for my right foot. Feels like it's working pretty good. Now to get over the soreness of the incisions! It's worth it though. N.rose3548184 wrote: Hi to everyone. My name is Sheri and I am new. Not to RSD but to this site. Just wanted to say hello to all. Guest guest
, we have ALL heard that we need to exercise more and eat/sleep less. That is such an insult to a hypothyroid person! There is no way to function on less sleep and eating less just shuts your metabolism down worse. You really need to get your Free T4 and Free T3 tested. Looks like you had a Total T4 which is useless. Where are you located? If in most of the US you can order your own testing if your doctor won;t do the correct ones, and many won't! Guest guest
>>Is it common to have adrenal problems after so long on synthetics?<< I don't think it is common, but it can happen. If you start slow on the thyroid, and have hyper symptoms or don;t feel well right away, it is a pretty sure sign of weak adrenals or low Ferritin (Iron). If you have no problems just increase slowly and you will know when you are at the right dosage for you. I went about 25 years on Synthroid, and never needed any adrenal support. *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV Fat cat? Diabetes? Guest guest
It's called the Thyroid II, but the more comprehensive testing for ALL your blood chemistry is the VIP PRO PLUS II, which includes testing for all red and white blood cells, ferritin, electrolytes, cholesterols, many other things, and the Free T3, Free T4, and TSH.
