Val, No, I'm not on any statin. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue which

has made everything so much worse.

For the first time, I am actually havng trouble typing this morning because my

hands hurt so much. I can't even tell you the kind of pain I'm in or the

exhaustion I'm feeling.... and the depression right now.

It takes a lot for me to cry in public, but I broke down in the office

yesterday. I would just like all of those around me to feel the pain I have for

just one day... I've been living with it severely for a year now. It has gotten

worse in the past few months. Plus, I gained 45 pounds in the past 6 months!!!!

When does the insanity end.

Sick to death of doctors!

I went through 5 docs in 3 months, trying to get proper treatment. & *%holes

they were to me. I am sorry you are going through this. Are you, by any

chance, on a statin? I was and it was adding to my pain.

Val

I feel for you because I'm experiencing the exact same thing. My hands are so

stiff & sore with the trigger thumbs that I drop things & can't do any precision

types of work, even cutting foods except extremely carefully & avoid doing those

types of things as much as possible.

I type anyway & use the mouse tho because I need the interaction with others as

I live alone & am retired/disabled. Tho I know it's likely making my hands

worse.

Also the heat is out in my house so I'm huddled/bundled up in my office in front

of the computer most hours of the day with the space heater on in here to stay

warm since its the smallest room in the house besides the bathrooms & laundry

rooms.

So I'm either here, in a hot water tub soak, or in bed with the heating pad on

my feet. I have no tv service so that's why I need the computer & grateful I've

got it.

I'm hoping when the Armour I've ordered finally gets here & I can start taking

it, that will help. Meantime I'm seeing yet another new doctor, an Internist

who'se supposed to be oh-so-good, this Thursday due to the kindness of a friend

who's driving me there to HER doctor since I'm without a car right now too.

Here's hoping we all feel better real soon. The wintery cold, wet weather makes

me stiffen up & get sore & achey with my arthritis more than ever. I hate

winters & full moons, like now, when I always feel worse. Full moon affect the

liquid content of the body & thus inflammation a lot, I've discovered from my

astrological knowledge/ tracking & physical experience. I'm also gaining weight

being more inactive now & have more water weight gain too especially on full

moons which makes everything hurt worse & causes swellings.

I also can't cry in public well at all, not even around family members.

Sometimes not even by myself when needed.

I think shedding tears like you did in doctors' offices does help sometimes for

they SEE your pain is hurting a lot or you wouldn't be crying or feeling so much

in despair. So I think it helps to do so at appropriate times. Too bad we can't

cry on command, right?

Blessings,

Caroline

Oh God, I'm on the hot sweltering Tx Gulf Coast, and I can't WAIT for winter

to come, I'm praying for it. Tired of burning up, not being able to breathe

when I go outside, and tired of these monstrous air conditioning electric

bills. I want to see 40 degrees again soon!

I can relate, oh yes! It gets into the 3 digits every day here in this part of

California in the Summer & Early Fall. So I was anxious for the long hot summer

& then Indian Summer which is just as hot, to end too.

Love the current way lower energy bills too. But this is ridiculous...it's one

extreme to the other. I'll take a happy medium with the house heat on part of

the day when I need it. Well the PG & E said they'd send an agent out here on

Friday to take care of it. So I hope the blown pilot light is all it is.
