I've got friends coming over tonight so had to choose some 'social' food - pizza, snacks etc. When it came to choosing the snacks, I wandered the aisles for ages, nothing was jumping out at me, I didn't fancy eating anything there - chocolate, cakes, sweets, icecream, even cheesecake! I just couldn't get excited about any of it. Normally in that situation I would've been buying as much as possible, trying to get as many different tasty 'treats' as possible so I could have an excuse to eat them. But now I know that no food is forbidden or bad, I can eat anything at any time, so it's no big deal. So there were no cravings and no anxiety and no worrying I'd end up bingeing.
