Hi Gayle,

I am Jim from Texas. Thanks for the vitamin E tip. I might give the 18K IU

version a try myself, since my problem is mainly hot flushing face with no

bumps. One question - how do you remove the vitamin E from your face the

following morning? TIA.

Jim

Hi, Gayle!

Vitamin E is great. It's a powerful antioxidant and taken internally

provides many health benefits. Externally, I agree about the stickiness. My

skin is oily so I tried smearing it on my face maybe twice before I gave up.

But I still think it's a wonderful, non-irritating, beneficial substance. I

hope the oil with fewer I.U.s works out for you. Let us know.

Vitamin E also comes in cream form. It goes on easier and is not as sticky

and goopy as the oil. Has anyone tried it? I would like to try it, but I'll

feel more comfortable if someone in this group has had experience with it

thet he/she would like to share.

Hi Gayle

I've been using vitamin E oil as a moisturizer for years. It definitely

does smooth the skin, but I've always felt that it promotes the appearance

of new red blood vessels after a time. Because it's winter though, I have

to use it everyday to combat the dry skin. I'm hoping to eventually find

something to replace it with.

Funny thing, I used oregano oil drops under my tongue and had great success

in terms of moisturizing properties. After only a couple days, howevever,

the effects wore off. So, back to the drawing board I guess.

Chris
