Hi group,

I received the A/R Cream a couple of days ago. The first night I think I

applied a bit too much because my skin was very dry & flaky the next

morning, but I must say that it significantly reduced redness and dried up

any pastules I had. So far last night was the second day I used it, this

time I applied it sparingly and with a little Vitamin E Ointment over it.

This morning I really have no redness/darkness to my face. I'm glad I

decided to try it, but only after getting more info. from Nettie at the

company--she told me that there are no steroids in the cream and that the

individual who makes this is a stickler regarding the use of natural

products.

One last note, I have puffiness on the right side of my face (upper eyelid

and cheek) and the product did nothing for that.

Thanks,

Hi Group,

I have been on the AR Cream for several weeks now and really like it.

It has calmed the red and got rid of the acne. I still flare, but not as

often and for a shorter duration. I know it is not a cure all.......but it

got me results when traditional medicine did not. I hope it will one day be

presented to the FDA for approval so I can feel better about using it. To

me, the bottom line is the ingredients are all natural and I feel " 'safer "

using an unregulated all natural product vrs an unregulated man-made

chemical compound.

My only complaint about AR Cream is the drying affect it has had on my

skin. I don't like that. I am experimenting with my usage of the

cream........now I just use it every other evening after I apply the emu oil

moisturizer. This seems to help the drying effect the AR Cream has on my

skin.

I agree with you Kate the A/R cream seems to work. I have had good results if

I put oil on my face before I put on the A/R cream. By itself it is just too

drying. I've been using the rose day cream under the A/R cream. still some

flakes, but no itching and the redness is reduced. Jay

Hi! A/R cream is an Acne/cea cream available from the Purple Emu

company at www.purpleemu.com. I highly recommend it and I recommend trying

the emu oil under it. It will not clog your pores and it will prevent the

sulphur in the A/R cream from drying out your skin too much. Good luck.

Hello everyone

I was just wondering if the people that are using the A/R cream have oily skin

or dry skin. And if the people with dry skin have tried it, what were your

results. Sorry if this has been asked before

,

I have skin that is neither oily or dry....just right in the middle.

The A/R cream dried my face out. I had major flakes after 2 days on the A/R

Cream. It cleared my red...but added 10 years to my facial skin. It took

me at least a month to get my skin back to " normal " again. Since I used the

A/R Cream, Purple Emu now sends the emu oil to use under the A/R cream. This

might make a difference.

I switched to Klaron and my results are better with that than the A/R

cream. No flakes and the red is gone. I may use the A/R cream again if the

Klaron stops working....possibly I will alternate between the two. Just, the

next time I use A/R cream I will use lots of moisturizer underneath.

Hi ,

I've had really good results from the A/R cream. BUT I use it on top of

my tried and true moisturizer (Nature's Gate Herbal Fragrance-Free

Moisturizer).

>>Dear Group,

I was wondering if any of you out there have had good

results with this A/R

cream? I have tried it for 4 days now along with the Emu oil under it

and have looked even

worse. My seb-derm went crazy and the redness on my cheeks is alot more

intense. I have

only been trying just a little bit on my cheeks. I know some Meds take a

little while to work,

but with me if I don't seen some kind of improvement in the first 2 or 3

days usually means

it isn't going to work for me. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Take care everyone, >>

Hi ,

Don't use anything on your face at the time other than the emu. Don't use

Metrolotion or Noritate or other prescrip meds or topicals like moisturizer.

Also, I'm only using it once a day, at night. If you're using it twice a day it

might be too much for you. And " small amount " means something different to

everyone as I'm sure you know... I'm tipping the very top of a q-tip in the A/R

and dotting it in small intervals of distance all over my face--about ½ to 1/4

inch in between. And the amount of each dot is about the size of a pin head.

The reason I do it this way is because you want to use a teeny tiny bit but

still get the entire surface of your face. If you use one or two " big "

(relatively) dots and try to work your way outward you'll have a harder time

covering your face with the small amount, and you're probably more likely to

have one spot of irritation.

I know *exactly* where you're coming from. The first time I used this a couple

of weeks ago it made me red as a beet and my seb derm went nuts too so I stopped

using it after three days and let my face calm down. I am on my second go-round

with it now and last night was my third night. Yesterday morning after my second

night of use, I was definitely paler than usual. I suspected that I put too

much A/R on last night though so this morning I'm a small bit redder than usual

but not unreasonably so.

I would recommend not using the A/R for a week or so and just using the emu to

let your face calm first. After looking at my face yesterday morning and having

a better experience this time, I'm more optimistic that this stuff might

actually work.

Good luck,

Kristi
