Can you do an oatmeal bath?

Glad to hear you didn't get the chicken pox vaccine!

will be stronger for getting them the natural way!

Good luck!

It's just been confirmed by the doctor that has chicken pox.

The doctor recommended liquid Benadryl if he got really itchy. I'm

guess that this isn't legal. Is there something out there that is

legal that would serve the same purpose of helping with the itch?

Hopefully we won't need it but it's good to be prepared. I'm

assuming there isn't a problem with Calimine lotion.

Thanks,

you're right the natural way is best!

Congratulations on not being snickerdoodled.

Get the book entitled " How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor "

by Mendelsohn, (MD) if you don't already have it. This will outline for

you how to treat an illness if your child does fall ill with a childhood

disease if not vaccinated.

All the best,

I would think this would be risky since he's a nail biter - might get

some into his system.

The best itch remedy that I've found for chicken pox is mix up a

paste of baking soda and water and apply to the blisters several

times daily.Just curious, does your son have asd? Most children that

haven't been vaccinated usually have a lower risk of asd.Just

wandering.

Though it is odd that a child would have ASD and not vaccinated,

remember there are lots of other ways they get metal exposure. I

believe my child's first assult was the mercury from my dental work

when I was pregnant. Then I put him in a Graco Pack-N-Play which is

drenched in antimony and arsenic. In case that wasn't enough, he has

gotten a good dose of metals from tap water (Britta doesn't filter

everything) and walla - an autistic child.

was diagnosed with ASD moderate to severe at age 2.5. We

started GF/CF right away and saw immediate improvements. He's just

finished the ABA therapy provided through a government funded

program. They don't treat children past their sixth birthday.

's progress has been incredible though and really he would not

have qualified for the 24 hours of therapy a week much longer. He

was non-verbal until the age of three when he started with single

words. I don't list him as ASD in my sign off because we are

convinced he no longer would meet the criteria for being ASD. We

will have a formal discharge assesement with the ABA therapy so we'll

see what they say.

For I think it was a combo of my mercury dental work, being on

an antibiotic IV during delivery (he had a yeast rash on his bum at

only 2 days old) and then two rounds of antibiotics at age one for an

ear infection. This of course was when I started introducing a bunch

of dairy products...

Anyhow we are so thankful to God for his leading us not to get

vaccinations for him. I shudder to think where we would be today if

we had vaccinated.

Re the GRACO Pack-n-play...are all GRACO playpens bad. We have one

that I'm still using (very rarely) for my 22 mth old. Should I be

concerned?

That's great that your son is doing so well!!!It's amazing how very

toxic our world is.I'm learning more about it everyday.Maybe one day

they'll(we'll) figure it out.My son didn't have any shots

past 6 months old .It was weird,my husband just out of the blue told

me not to give anymore shots, that he just had a bad feeling

about them.He was fine and had no asd symptoms at that time.I

also, hate to think of what it might be like today if we would have

gotten more shots.God watches over us.I wish you well with your son

and we're with you on a complete recovery.

Just curious, because I apperently don't have enough to worry about

as I lie in bed at night, but where do you find this kind of

information? I often wonder about things like cotton clothing

(doused with pesticides) and every other thing in our home. I am not

concerned that my son has chemical sensitivities to the extreme, but

obviously his little body doesn't filter out toxins well on its own.

Try www.google.com. Type a search like 'Play Doh+composition'

or 'Applegate hot dog+ingrediets'.
