Joan,

Sounds like your derm was pms'ing. (experiencing pecker mentality syndrome.) It's so sad when their egos won't allow their brains to say I haven't a clue-- lets biopsy this and see what it is.

I'm sure you want to slap her. But social rules won't allow us. Damn.

Keep putting it out there. You deserve to find someone that isn't gonna play it to "all in your head." It's obvious with the lesions that you aren't "thinking" this into existence.

Hugs to you,

Tracie

Many fairy hugs to you, sweet joan. I don't dare send bootstraps, I'm afraid

they'd make a mess of your sprain; Now I do hope that some bright resident

decided to biopsy your lesions anyway? Why can't our hospital experiences be

more like tv's ER?

Ahhhhhhh. Once again, for us, fiction is far better than truth.

Hi all,

I'm venting to those who care again ... Well, as if walking weren't difficult enough with chronic radiculopathy, peripheral neuropathy, and the lesions-from h_ll ... yesterday morning, I was walking down the stairs ... my ankle gave out, and I fell ... I remember thinking as falling, "oh, please do not hear a break!" ... thank goodness it was not a break, but I am all wrapped up with a very painful sprain ... and additional pain everywhere from the fall ... siiighhhhhh.

Oh ... and to the dermatologist who I thought knew everything ... well, I saw her on Wednesday ... she had never seen my type lesions before and said, "These are not typical of sarc". I told her that I was well aware of that and that they were not the same as the nodules on my shin when I had them, but that every time I had a sarc flare-up, these became very active. She continued with, "when you have a disease, you need to 'accept' it and 'deal with it appropriately' ... you need to keep your legs elevated because the heart has to travel far to pump the blood in that these can heal ... she went on with her story regarding her diabetes and all the things she needs to do. I showed her the same lesions on my hands, arms, and chest (which are close to the heart) ... she suddenly needed to 'move on to another patient, referring me to two other dermatologists".

I called my GP yesterday (after telling him about my fall) and asked him which dermatologist I should see ... he was furious ... he said, "She didn't even biopsy the lesions?!?!?!" ...NO!!!!

When at the hospital last night for my sprain, all the docs and nurses thought I was there for my "heavily-covered lesion foot" ... they were surprised to know it was the other one with only a few lesions.

Joan,

That most hunky pediatrician is the wonderful, the dashing, the of

our generation (Not to mention that is Aunt sang like an absolute angel with

attitude)......... GEORGE CLOONEY

Hubba Hubba. Thanks for the image, sweetie! There was a day, long ago and far

away, when I could have and did have men like him. But I'm awfully, awfully

happy that my Redford look alike of a husband has gained weight right

with me, gets his hair cut military style, but will remain the apple of my eye

for eternity.

Here's a chuckle. Do you remember that really weirdo hairdo Mr. Clooney had

right after he left ER. It was this weird symetrical triangle made of his bangs

and them some. I happened to see a very odd Vampire movie with him in it in the

middle of the night. He wasn't one of the walking dead, but might has well been

with that hair.. Luckily he is aging fantastically and coming is hair in that

sexy Rock Hudson/ way. Hubba Hubba.

ness == Hey! I said I was a fairy, not an angel!

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} ...( - once again, I feel your hugs and return even more!)Many fairy hugs to you, sweet joan. (It's a painful day -- all the way around and everywhere!...including my emotions...I can't stop the tears ... the hospital only gave me 2 days worth of pain meds) ... so appreciate the hugs) I don't dare send bootstraps, I'm afraid they'd make a mess of your sprain (I need 'something' ... my cane is all I have to hold me up right now); Now I do hope that some bright resident decided to biopsy your lesions anyway? (Besides looking at the lesions as if to say "Eweeee!" ... Not at our local hospital! ... which my insurance co. does not allow me to visit!...but, I'm ready for another morphine shot, so they may get another visit ... at an additional $100 co-pay, of course) Why can't our hospital experiences be more like tv's ER? (Good question ... I'm ready to visit that TV child dr.!...I forget his name)Ahhhhhhh. Once again, for us, fiction is far better than truth. (isn't that the truth! ... even in fiction, I could not make up this pain)Joan in loving response to renee
