Guest guest
hello again i posted about a week ago asking if i was herxing. i had dropped my pred from 5 to 2.5mg. I've been back up to 5 for a week now and the pain and swelling in my feet is still getting worse. strangely though i feel i have a little more energy. This is my 4th week on minocycline 100mg M W F. Getting a little down with the sore feet. Does anyone have any ideas on how to find some relief. My toes on my right foot are being pushed apart by the inflammation and its very painful to walk. thankyou darren (uk)
Guest guest
Hi Darren You are in a herx plus a rebound from foling with the pred. What about using one of those foot saps and put in the epsom salsts and a 1/2 bottle of peroxide and see if this does not help. It should. Soak at least 30 min and make the water nice and hot. This should be better. I would just hold the line a bit.If you even go up on the minocin, that will just cause more of a herx. Hang tough and use the footbath.I know for me, benedryl also helped as there are toxins causing a histimne release and the benedryl helps. I can only take 1/2 pill at bedtime but I am senstive to that. Give this a try too Marge > hello again > > i posted about a week ago asking if i was herxing. i had dropped my > pred from 5 to 2.5mg.
